What the badge represents

The US Business Reviews badge indicates that a business has been independently reviewed and recommended by our editorial team. It carries weight precisely because we do not award it to every business — only those who earn a Recommended or Highly Recommended verdict in our editorial process.

How licensing works

The licensing fee covers your right to use the badge in your marketing — it does not influence your review or score. All reviews are finalized and published before any licensing conversation begins.

Licensed businesses receive a high-resolution badge file, usage guidelines, and the right to display the badge on their website, email signatures, storefront signage, and printed marketing materials.

Pricing

Billed annually. Continued use requires the underlying review to remain favorable; if a business's review falls below the Recommended threshold during the annual update, license rights are paused until the next review cycle.

Editorial firewall

We maintain a strict separation between our editorial team and our business operations. Our writers and editors have no visibility into which businesses have licensed badges, and licensing relationships have zero influence on editorial coverage.
